A four-month executive formation for institutional stewards. Completion does not confer Fellowship: admission to the Fellowship is a separate act of the Council following independent assurance and supermajority recommendation.

Comparative Governance & Contextual Intelligence
Comparative governance systems across common-law, civil-law and mixed jurisdictions; the reading of political and institutional context.

Weeks 5–8
Stakeholder Statecraft & Institutional Diplomacy
Public value, stakeholder statecraft, multilateral negotiation and the exercise of institutional diplomacy.

Weeks 9–12
Cyber, Critical Infrastructure & Systemic Resilience
Systemic risk, critical-infrastructure resilience and the director's account to society under contested technological conditions.

Weeks 13–15
Institutional Reform & Governance Design
Institutional reform, governance design and the supervised institutional stewardship project.
05
Week 16
Fellowship Court, Public Oration & Induction
Closed Fellowship Court, public oration, independent assurance, supermajority recommendation and Council ratification.
Eligibility of the Fellowship.
Convened for those already holding, or having held, offices of standing consequence — and prepared by prior professional formation.
- §Completion of the GDI Professional Director Programme, or equivalent formation accepted by the Council
- §Sitting or former head of state, minister or cabinet secretary
- §Chief executive or chair of a listed enterprise or state institution
- §Vice chancellor, rector or head of a chartered university
- §Chief justice or senior appellate judge
- §Head of a multilateral institution or sovereign body
- §Comparable office by invitation of the Council
Fellowship is earned, never conferred by tuition.
A candidate may complete the sixteen-week formation and, upon the Court's deliberation, not be admitted to Fellowship. Prestige arises from selective admission, demanding formation, independent assessment, reasoned conferral, a public register, continuing development and enforceable ethics.
Post-nominals and the form of any Fellowship designation are subject to the Fellowship Statutes and Council resolution. No post-nominal, title or partner seal may be used until expressly authorised.
Nominations for the next Fellowship cohort open twice yearly.
Candidates are put forward by a serving Fellow, a Faculty member, or by direct invitation of the Council.
