How the House receives its cohorts.

Nomination
A serving Fellow, faculty chair or officer of a chartered institution puts a candidate's name forward to the Registrar.

Invitation
The Chancellor or Dean of Programmes extends a private invitation to individuals of standing consequence.

Direct Application
Candidates for the Certified Director Programme and the Board Excellence Academy may apply directly.
The five stages of admission.
Nomination or Enquiry
The Registrar receives the candidate's dossier: curriculum vitae, statement of purpose and a letter from a nominator.
Review by the Admissions Court
A standing committee of faculty examines the dossier against the doctrine of the requested programme.
Private Audience
Shortlisted candidates are received at the Institute's seat in Accra, or by video, for a formal audience with two members of the faculty.
Deliberation
The Admissions Court convenes in camera. Decisions are conveyed within thirty days of audience.
Matriculation
Admitted candidates are received at the seat of the Institute and inscribed into the register of the House.
